Privacy & Ethics

Working with legal professionals requires a high level of discretion, professionalism and trust. Your privacy and confidentiality are treated with the utmost care at all times.

Client confidentiality sits at the core of my practice. All information shared, whether during consultations, sessions or correspondence, is handled sensitively and in strict confidence.

All sessions, whether individual or group, are treated as confidential. Online sessions are conducted using secure, encrypted platforms and all personal information is handled and stored securely.

Information is not shared with Partners, HR or the wider firm without your explicit consent, unless required by law.

Psychological safety is central to the process, allowing each participant to speak openly, knowing their privacy is respected and protected at all times.

I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and fully comply with UK GDPR, including the secure handling of personal and special category (health) data.

This includes:

  • Secure storage of all client records (digital and/or written);

  • Strict controls on access to personal information;

  • Clear limits on confidentiality, explained before therapy begins.

As a member of recognised professional bodies, I adhere to established ethical standards, including maintaining confidentiality, obtaining informed consent and practising within my scope of expertise.

This ensures that you can engage fully in the process, knowing your privacy, professional standing and personal information are protected at all times.
